Buttermilk Fudge

2 c Sugar
1 ts Soda
2 tb Corn syrup
1 c Buttermilk
1/2 Stick butter
1 ts Vanilla

Mix and bring to boil first 4 ingredients. Add butter. Cook to soft ball stage. Beat in vanilla (and nuts if desired). Drop by teaspoonful onto foil.
