Old Fashioned Divinity Fudge

3 c Sugar
3/4 C/ light Karo syrup
1 c Boiling water
pn Salt
3 Egg whites (stiffly beaten)
3/4 ts Vanilla

Slowly bring sugar, water, syrup, & salt to a boil. Cook to hard ball stage. Pour over egg whites and beat till it starts to thicken. Add vanilla. Beat til stiff enough to drop onto wax paper.
